SEOUL, Jul 10 (Reuters) – Torrential rain played spoilsport and authorised only full one turn of play during a golf contest in South Korea, withdrawal all 153 players winners — of sorts, organisers pronounced on Sunday.

Only 3 players finished their second rounds during a Charity High-1 Resort Open, withdrawal officials with no choice though to cancel a rest of a million dollar tournament.

“Because of a continue we have encountered over a 4 days we have done a preference … to cancel a event,” OneAsia Chief Executive Ben Sellenger pronounced in a statement.

“Because it is clear that we are not going to get by 36 holes, a movement has been taken after conference with a sponsor.”

Fifty percent of a $1 million purse will be distributed equally between a golfers, who had spent their time stranded inside a High-1 Country Club, north-east of Seoul.
